About Listo El Pollo Peruvian Food

When I first stumbled upon Listo El Pollo Peruvian Food, I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect from a casual Peruvian spot tucked into a Reseda strip plaza, but it quickly became one of those places I find myself talking about every chance I get. From the moment you walk in (or even just call in your order), there’s this unmistakable vibe of authentic Peruvian comfort food done right - think smoky, juicy wood‑rotisserie chicken, hearty lomo saltado, and flavorful sides that make each bite feel both comforting and exciting. Locals often rave about the rich sauces and tender chicken that really showcase why this place has remained popular in the neighborhood.

What’s great about Listo El Pollo, beyond just the quality of the food, is how flexible it is for different dining moods. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite on the go with takeout, settling in for a relaxed dine‑in meal with friends, or ordering delivery for a cozy night at home, this spot handles it all with ease and consistency. The menu strikes a nice balance between classic comfort dishes and options that feel nourishing and fresh, so you’re not just limited to heavy fare - there are lighter plates and healthy choices to mix in with the indulgent ones as well.

The atmosphere matches the food perfectly: it’s casual and welcoming without any pretense. You’ll find a mix of families, regulars, and first‑timers all enjoying plates that often come with generous portions and bold, memorable flavors. The staff tends to be friendly and approachable, making even last‑minute diner requests feel easy. And because the restaurant is set at 6800 Reseda Blvd in Reseda, CA, you have that feel‑good local spot just right off the main boulevard that’s great for both planned visits and spontaneous cravings alike.

My review is for the takeout Pollo a la Brasa. The chicken is delicious, served with French fries and a fresh salad. Everything is packed neatly, and the spicy sauces are the highlight. The service is attentive, and while the place is small, it’s clean and well kept

Pretty good Pollo a la Brasa (Peruvian rotisserie). Best flavor on this side of the valley. A bit on the saltier side, but amazing still. They do have the best Arroz Chaufa de Pollo I've had in California though. It's perfect every time. I'm still having trouble figuring out the combination of flavors used. It's simply outstanding and hard to compete with. There was one point I was picking up food here twice a week. I may have warn myself out. After a 4 month hiatus, I'm back and glad to see it's still up to par. I prefer land animals on their menus. At least the times I've had it, seafood can taste a little freezer burned. Sadly. Staff can seem a little rude and rushed. But it's somewhat understandable, seeing that they're always busy and understaffed.

Ordered a 1/4 Pollo a las Brasas with double side of salad. Chicken flavor amazing. Really good I’m still feeling it after a few hours. Sure I will be back for the rest of the menu. Nice place. The only downside is that the chicken is too small!!!

Simply amasingly fresh and delicious tasting food which is made to order. I had the arrow con polo and they even offered to make this order with beef instead of chicken. Flavors were strong but not overpowering. The chicken was hot and crisp. The meal is so delicious that you dont want to cloud the taste with a beverage, try water instead. Service is strong in this busy restaurant. Aldo try the green sauce, its green chillies with lettuce, its mighty spicy but high on taste. Parking is limited, but there is plenty of street parking.

Listo el Pollo is delicious wood fire grilled chicken with so much flavor, it’s ridiculous. I have tried just about everything on the menu and will never leave the valley before heading to Bay Area without making a quick stop. The tallarines Saltado is so fresh and balanced flavors. They are not cheap with the sauces as well which brings the meal together.

My go-to is the 1/4 chicken with beans and salad. The rotisserie chicken is juicy and full of taste, the beans are some of my favorite in LA, and their yellow chili sauce and their green sauce might be the best in the business. Actually, everything I've tried on the menu was very tasty. Highly recommended! IG:. kay_okay_eat

I've gone to a couple Peruvian restaurants in the valley including puro sabor that was my favorite. But today after coming here. Wow this has to be the best lomo saltado I've ever had so far. Hlgpod quality meat, nice and tender. A bit pricey but if u wanna treat yourself definitely worth it. Paid 30 dollars for a plate with a chicha morada
